Stallions 1st Bank

Bank at School

This is a “Partners in Education” program called Bank at School. Citizens National Bank has created an in-school bank operated by the students of Stockwell Place Elementary. The banking dates occur once a month beginning in September and ending in May with the exception of December.

This program teaches children the importance of saving their money versus spending it right away. It also teaches the concept of “watching your money grow” by earning interest. Furthermore, those students employed as a “bank employee” learn the importance of how to be a professional in the workplace. For participating in the program, each child will receive a bank at school t-shirt to wear on each banking day and a money holder to put their savings in.
